Description: This is simple chess videogame. It is a game for two players. It is without artificial intelligence. That’s why it has title like 2p chess. 2p – 2 players. Visual side is taken from free graphic asset. From Screaming Brain Studios (SBS). Asset has a name SBS - 2D Chess Pack and it is available for free at itchio. Chess are logic game by its nature. Figures are moves according the rules. Plus to this, also taken into account, so special moments as castling, exchange of pawn for any figure, in case of pawn makes a last step in its line. King cannot go in cell, that is under attack. Situation, that you need to protect your king. Or move him aside. And, in any other way, it is a chess for two players. In this game each player takes its turn, after another player. Control It is mouse control. Left mouse button (LMB) – select action Right mouse button (RMB) – statistics and pause, during the game

You can choose one of four chess boards and one of four figures pack, they all are different about visual. Because of, I use decorations from chess pack graphics from SBS (Screaming Brain Studios). Chess has topdown view.

There is a counter of captured figures according to chess rules. Captured figures are given values in cost of pawn points. That is about, that some figure can be valued as several pawns, when you capture it. And also there is a counter about total captured figures. And players can decide between each other, about what rules they can use. And game shows everything.

Player takes its own decision about when to stop a game, and it will be a start of counting the scores. And some small statistics. Such as beginning of play, time and end of play, time. And also, scores that was describes upper. Also, game is automatically stops, when somebody’s king is eaten.

Game is launching in small window and has yellow-green interface. There are minimum of sounds here. There are minimum of settings, like turn on and turn off the sounds, and also choose language – Russian and English.

Little warning. Mainly, all of chess rules are programmed. And you can play normal. But in terms, of that, chess is a very hard logical game with so many steps and game situations. Than it is possible some inaccuracy. But they don’t disturb the game.

Game is made simple, and you can play it for free time and relax with a friend, for example, or with colleague by work during the pause. Game is running in a small window, that is also very comfortable. And, also you can play alone, just making a steps, some steps, for point of interest or for a free time. Maybe good for learning about what figure can make what step.

There are only few sounds in game. Only sound of making step. And few more sound signals. Just like game is over. And, by the word, you can turn off sound. So it is a minimal chess for two players. Players, that are making step after each other.

During gameplay, program shows some statistics. For select a statistic during the game – press RMB. Right mouse button.

Scores are counting two ways.
1) Total amount of captured figures. Each figure is about one score.
2) By some relative value. About value according to one pawn. So all figures has theirs values according to pawn.

Pawn – 1 score
Knight and bishop – 3 scores
Rook – 5 scores
Queen – 10 scores
King – 0 scores
